Yes Yes Media Strikes First-Look Formats Deal with Tresor

Richard Bacon’s Yes Yes Media has recently announced a first-look formats deal with Keshet International-owned German label Tresor. This collaboration will give Tresor an exclusive window to all new non-scripted formats developed by Yes Yes Media, a company supported by a consortium that includes Sister, France’s Satisfaction, Courtney Cox, and the guitarist from Snow Patrol.

Tresor and Yes Yes Media have already begun working together as part of a larger deal involving Keshet International and Arthur Essebag’s Satisfaction, which was finalized earlier this year. Tresor, known for producing shows like I Can See Your Voice, Masters of Dance, and Wer isses?, has a history of striking first-look deals. In the past, the company has collaborated with MGM Television’s global formats division and Korean powerhouse CJ ENM, resulting in successful adaptations of popular shows.

Yes Yes Media’s debut commission under this new partnership is UKTV’s Silence is Golden, hosted by Dermot O’Leary. In this show, audience members must remain silent to win a substantial cash prize while being entertained and taunted by comedians, celebrities, and entertainers. Tresor MD Axel Kühn expressed enthusiasm about working with Yes Yes Media, citing their alignment with Tresor’s innovative approach to TV trends in Germany. He looks forward to developing and adapting Yes Yes Media’s formats for the German audience.

This partnership opens up exciting opportunities for both Yes Yes Media and Tresor. By combining their expertise and creative visions, they aim to bring fresh and engaging content to viewers in Germany. With a shared commitment to pushing boundaries and exploring new formats, the collaboration between Yes Yes Media and Tresor promises to deliver innovative and entertaining programming in the future.
