Ultra-Exclusive White Party Raises Eyebrows with Logo Mishap

Guests attending the highly exclusive white party hosted by Michael Rubin in the Hamptons were left both puzzled and intrigued over the weekend. As the lucky attendees indulged in top-shelf liquor, an unexpected turn of events captured their attention. A video of the extravagant affair surfaced online, featuring the name of a completely unrelated liquor brand, causing quite a stir among partygoers.

The video, which appeared on Instagram Reels, showcased the lavish scene of the party, now superimposed with the name “Billionaire’s Row.” Interestingly, “Billionaire’s Row” is a champagne and lifestyle brand owned by William Benson, a close associate of Mayor Eric Adams. Observant individuals with a penchant for skepticism quickly noticed the discrepancy and speculated that Benson was attempting to insinuate that his liquor was served at the event. A source even claimed, “It looks like he threw this party!”

However, Rubin’s representative was quick to dismiss these assumptions, declaring, “Michael has no idea who [Benson] is!” According to them, neither Benson nor his product had any involvement in the party. They emphasized that the guest list was strictly limited to personal friends of Rubin, which included A-list celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, Kim Kardashian, Jay Z, and Beyonce.

When reached for comment, Benson, who resides in North Carolina, denied any intentional deception. He stated that someone else had added his logo to the video, and he found it rather amusing. However, after being contacted, Benson promptly removed the posts and comments from his personal and business profiles. He clarified, “I was not trying to give off the impression that I was there. I don’t know Michael Rubin.”

While Rubin did serve the liquor brands of his famous acquaintances at the event, such as Kevin Hart’s Grand Coramino and Kendall Jenner’s 818, along with other high-end spirits, Benson’s association with the party remained purely coincidental.

Interestingly, this incident is not the first time Benson has found himself in hot water. In the past, he has faced accusations from multiple women, including his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Delpe, who claimed he deceived them into investing money in his champagne company. Delpe revealed, “He wooed me out of my savings,” shedding light on Benson’s alleged fraudulent activities.

Furthermore, Danni Benson, his estranged wife, disclosed that she contributed $500,000 towards the launch of Billionaire’s Row starting in 2010. However, she never received any ownership documents for the champagne brand. Jane Owen, Benson’s representative at the time, vaguely addressed the accusations, asserting that Benson “founded” and “funded” the business with Delpe, without directly responding to the specific claims regarding Danni’s investments.

Danni and other sources have also accused Benson of leveraging his friendship with Mayor Adams, whom he allegedly met in 2018, to enhance his credibility. Danni stated, “That’s William’s credibility. He says, ‘I know the mayor.’ He uses him to his advantage.”

The logo mishap at Michael Rubin’s ultra-exclusive white party sparked intrigue and confusion among the attendees. While some speculated that William Benson attempted to associate his brand with the event, Rubin’s representative vehemently denied any such involvement. Benson, who maintains his innocence, quickly distanced himself from the incident. This incident sheds light on Benson’s controversial past, marked by allegations of financial deceit and leveraging his connections for personal gain.
