Although this is a slight decrease from the 15.2 million views it achieved in its initial days following its June 29 release, Season 3 has still managed to accumulate a total of 29 million views since its launch. While it has yet to reach the top of the most popular TV list, which requires 79 million views, there is still ample time for the season to achieve this milestone, especially with the release of the second half of the season.
The Witcher Enthusiasm Boosts Previous Seasons
The excitement surrounding the new season of The Witcher has prompted viewers to revisit the earlier seasons. Both Season 1 and Season 2 have experienced a surge in popularity and secured a spot in the Top 10 on Netflix’s all-time most popular list. Season 1, currently ranked at No. 9, received an additional 2.6 million views, elevating it to the No. 6 position this week. Season 2 claimed the No. 7 spot with 2.4 million views.
The Lincoln Lawyer returns for another season, debuting on Netflix on July 6 with five episodes. The new season quickly rose to second place on the English-language TV list, amassing 7.4 million views. Viewers can anticipate the release of the remainder of Season 2 in August. Meanwhile, Season 1 of the legal drama has also experienced an increase in viewership, earning 2.3 million views this week and securing the No. 8 position on the list.
Other new additions to the TV list include Tom Segura: Sledgehammer, a stand-up special at No. 3 with 4.5 million views, and the unscripted competition Is It Cake, Too? at No. 4 with 4 million views.
After reigning for three weeks as the top English-language film, [original film title] was surpassed by the bank heist film The Out-Laws. Starring Adam Devine, Nina Dobrev, Ellen Barkin, and Pierce Brosnan, this action comedy garnered a staggering 19.6 million views, making it the most viewed title of the week. Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction 2 claimed second place with 8.9 million views, approximately half of its viewership from the previous week. Since its release, Extraction 2 has amassed a total of 111 million views and has the potential to reach the all-time most popular list if it can gain another 19 million views within the designated 91-day premiere window.
Although it did not make the Top 10 for this week, Jennifer Lopez’s The Mother has climbed to No. 9 on the all-time chart with a total of 130 million views to date. Spenser Confidential currently holds the No. 10 spot with 129 million views and serves as the film to beat for Extraction 2. The first Extraction film currently sits at No. 8 on the all-time list, boasting nearly 267 million views within its 91-day premiere window.
