The Shimmering Style of Beyoncé: A Celebration of Virgo Season

Bet you you’ll see stars. Beyoncé has been rocking out in the flashy all-silver dress code she requested fans follow for her late August and September Renaissance World Tour shows — and Virgo season has never looked better.

The “Cuff It” singer, 41 — who celebrates her birthday on September 4 — showcased her sparkly silver style in multiple posts from her Phoenix and Las Vegas shows on Sunday and Monday after posting about her very specific b-day request on her Instagram Story last week. “Virgo season is upon us,” the Grammy winner wrote. “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22.” “We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo season together in the house of Chrome,” Bey declared.

Beyoncé certainly gave fans plenty of inspo over the past few days, donning a metallic silver dress with a crisscross top and cutout middle covered in sparkling mesh in the first series of pics. She goes on to wear an angelic look featuring silver wings and a chrome bodysuit in another Phoenix concert look, covering her eyes with out-of-this-world silver glasses, then wears a structural bodysuit constructed from a piece of silver material protruding from her bust. Moving on to the most recent show in Las Vegas, the “Single Ladies” singer wears an enormous silver hat trimmed with tinsel-like trim along with a matching bodysuit, boots and a dramatic tinsel cape that trailed behind her in a video clip she shared on Instagram. She looks ever the Vegas showgirl in another tour look, wearing a custom Bronx and Banco catsuit covered in Swarovski crystals. The sheer outfit took 150 hours to create by hand-applying each stone, according to the brand, and also featured a white coat made from ethically sourced ostrich feathers. Another standout look came in the form of a futuristic bodysuit crafted from 3-D silver items including cell phones and charging cables — and the “Halo” singer even wore huge silver mobile phone earrings to take the theme to the next level. Beyoncé went with a touch of red for her next Vegas look, wearing a long-sleeved chrome dress from Ukrainian brand Frolov with a sheer panel in the center and a red human heart-shaped applique covering one breast. She added a wide-brimmed metallic red hat that covered her entire face except for her eyes, pairing the shimmering outfit with silver boots.

Fans React to the Silver Fever

While fans have taken to social media to discuss their anxiety over the singer’s last-minute dress code, others seemed like they were into the metallic vibes. “Shiny as a disco ball, icy as the snow but on fire like a blazing inferno 😍❤️‍🔥” one fan commented on Beyoncé’s tinsel-themed look, while Khloé Kardashian left three crown emojis on her Instagram post featuring the winged outfit. “This silver EATSSS DOWN🤤🤤” another fan added, while one Instagram user demanded a book to document the experience, writing, “These outfits are INSANE!! We seriously need a hardcover coffee table size look book of EVERYTHING…NAME YOUR PRICE!”

As Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour continues through October 1, it is clear that her sparkling silver fashion choices have left a memorable mark on her fans. The celebration of Virgo season and the house of Chrome has brought a sense of joy and exuberance to each concert, as fans and the singer alike immerse themselves in this shimmering experience. So, get your best metallic outfits ready and join Beyoncé in celebrating Virgo season like never before.
