The Price is Right contestant dislocates shoulder in celebration

The Price is Right has always been a dream game show for many people. However, one contestant named Henry took his excitement a little too far. During the Thursday episode of the CBS show, Henry won the game of Bonkers and in his excitement, he ended up dislocating his right shoulder. The episode had been recorded in February.

Wife Takes Over

When the time came to spin the wheel, Henry’s wife Alice had to take his place. It was quite evident that Henry’s right arm was hanging below his hips. This meant that Alice had to come to the rescue as Henry could no longer participate. Host Drew Carey had to explain why Henry was unable to take his turn at the heavy wheel.

Price is Right Injuries

Although the show is all about fun and games, injuries have happened on set. Another Price is Right contestant named Judy had a tumble in 2014 while spinning the wheel and had to play the Showcase Showdown on crutches. Even Drew Carey had his arm cut in a rotating machine during the grocery game in 2007 before his first show as host had even aired.

Fortunately, Alice brought good luck to the Price is Right stage. She managed to land a 95 on the wheel, which sent Henry to the Showcase Showdown. The contest ended up winning a trip to Hawaii, but also had to visit the ER. It was a painful experience for Henry, but he will always be remembered as the contestant who dislocated his shoulder in celebration.
