The Eisner Family’s Stroke of Bad Luck

Hollywood producer Eric Eisner, son of former Walt Disney CEO Michael, recently suffered a skateboarding accident in California, resulting in a broken elbow and a fractured hip. The incident occurred while Eisner was trying to pull off a new move that a friend had shown him. Unfortunately, he was unable to successfully execute the trick, leading to his injuries.

Despite his injuries, Eisner managed to drive himself to the emergency room after the accident, much to the surprise of the hospital staff. He is currently using a wheelchair to avoid putting weight on his hip, but reports indicate that he is gradually regaining his ability to walk. The extent of his injuries required the insertion of nine screws in his elbow.

Coincidentally, Eisner’s daughter also suffered an accident the day before his own mishap. She fell off her horse and broke her collarbone in New York, resulting in surgeries for both father and daughter that were scheduled on different coasts just a day apart. This unfortunate turn of events led Stacey Bendet, Eisner’s wife and a fashion designer, to humorously refer to herself as an “orthopedic doctor in residence” due to her recent experiences with orthopedic procedures.

Despite the string of bad luck that has befallen the Eisner family, Bendet remains optimistic about their recovery. She expressed sympathy for her husband and daughter while acknowledging their fortunate circumstances. The family is currently recuperating together in Malibu as they focus on healing and getting back on their feet.

The Eisner family has faced a series of challenges in the form of unexpected accidents and injuries. However, their resilience and the support they have received from each other and their loved ones have bolstered their spirits as they navigate their recoveries. Despite the setbacks, the family remains hopeful for a full recovery and a return to normalcy in the near future.
