Princess Charlotte, only 9 years old, has proven herself to be a huge Taylor Swift fan, according to a source speaking to “Entertainment Tonight.” She had been eagerly looking forward to attending Swift’s concert for months, and the opportunity to do so became even more special as it coincided with her father’s birthday celebration.
Prince William turned 42 and celebrated his birthday in a unique way by taking Princess Charlotte and Prince George, his 10-year-old son, to Taylor Swift’s concert in London. Unfortunately, Kate Middleton, William’s wife, was unable to attend the show as she was focused on her ongoing treatment for cancer. Instead, she stayed home with their youngest child, Prince Louis.
According to the same source, Princess Charlotte absolutely loved the concert and both she and her brother were described as “really wonderful children.” The source also acknowledged William and Kate for their excellent job in raising all three of their children.
After the show, the royal siblings had the opportunity to meet Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, backstage. A group selfie was shared by Swift, expressing gratitude for the evening, while the Prince and Princess of Wales reciprocated the sentiment in another angle of the photo.
Despite the attention drawn to Prince William’s dancing during the concert, particularly to Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off,” the insider close to him mentioned that he remains focused on his family and his wife’s well-being. He simply wanted the night to be special for his children.
Kate Middleton made her first public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis at Trooping the Colour. In a statement prior to the event, she expressed her cautious optimism and emphasized the importance of patience during her healing process. Middleton has been open about having both good and bad days, where she must listen to her body and allow herself time to rest and recuperate.
