Meghan McCain Stands Firm: No Return to The View

Meghan McCain has made it abundantly clear that she has no intention of returning to The View. In a recent interview with Page Six, the political commentator stated that there is “not a chance in hell” of her ever being asked to come back as a guest on the show. Furthermore, McCain emphasized that she personally does not have any desire to rejoin the popular daytime talk show.

Since her departure from The View in 2021, Meghan McCain has been focused on hosting her own shows, such as Citizen McCain and Meghan McCain Has Entered the Chat. She highlighted the fact that she now has children and is content with her current life, indicating that she has no regrets about leaving the show behind.

McCain’s decision to distance herself from The View extends to her former co-hosts as well. She revealed that she does not maintain contact with any of the current hosts, although she does have friends behind the scenes. McCain expressed concern for those who remain friends with her, as she does not want them to face any backlash for associating with her. Despite this, she still has relationships with former co-hosts Jenny McCarthy and Rosie O’Donnell, with plans to have O’Donnell as a guest on her podcast.

In a somewhat cryptic statement, Meghan McCain mentioned that she still has Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s phone number saved in her phone, hinting at a unique bond that exists between former co-hosts of The View. While McCain may have moved on to other projects and distanced herself from the show, it is evident that there are lingering connections and memories that tie her to her time on the popular talk show.

By taking a firm stand on her decision to not return to The View, Meghan McCain has shown that she is dedicated to forging her own path and focusing on her current priorities. While her relationship with the show and her former co-hosts may be complicated, McCain’s unwavering stance reflects her commitment to personal growth and professional independence.
