Kardashian and Barker had been trying to conceive for some time before finally announcing their pregnancy. They had publicly expressed their desire to have a child together on Kardashian’s Hulu show. After struggling to get pregnant naturally, they turned to in vitro fertilization and several herbal remedies. However, Kardashian announced last month that they were no longer pursuing IVF. Kardashian is already a mother to Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, whom she shares with her ex Scott Disick. Barker, on the other hand, shares children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler: son Landon, 19, daughter Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24.

The couple tied the knot in a lavish Italian wedding in May 2022. Kardashian’s pregnancy announcement came two days after she held up a sign reading “Travis I’m pregnant” at his Los Angeles concert. She was joined by several friends in the crowd as Barker jumped off the stage and kissed her.
