Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker recently announced that they are expecting a baby boy. The couple held a gender reveal party at Kardashian’s house, which was decorated with silver star and black heart balloons, along with baby’s breath flowers. Kardashian shared videos of the party on her Instagram Story, revealing that the theme was rock ‘n’ roll.
Guests who attended the party were given either a pink or blue wristband, depending on whether they thought Kardashian was carrying a boy or a girl. Attendees were also given all-access passes to wear around their necks and disposable cameras to take photos. The couple encouraged their guests to take pictures and leave notes as a keepsake.
The party had a vegan menu, and guests enjoyed microphone-shaped cookies and a cake covered in tiny black hearts. When it was time to reveal the sex of the baby, Kardashian sat on Barker’s lap in front of a drum kit. Kardashian wore a baby blue outfit that she referred to as her “mother’s intuition,” and Barker was heard saying to his wife in a clip, “Tell me when you’re ready.” He then asked, “Is our pyro guy ready?” before a burst of blue confetti erupted into the air.
Kardashian and Barker previously expressed their desire to have a child together on her family’s Hulu show. After struggling to conceive naturally, the couple opted for in vitro fertilization (IVF) and several herbal remedies. However, IVF proved unsuccessful. The couple is happy to have a baby and believes that it is part of God’s plan for them.
Kardashian already has three children, Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, with her ex, Scott Disick. Barker has two children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, son Landon, 19, and daughter Alabama, 17, in addition to stepdaughter Atiana, 24.
Kardashian and Barker celebrated their little rock star at their gender reveal party. The couple opted for IVF after struggling to conceive naturally, and they are excited to welcome their baby boy. The party was filled with rock ‘n’ roll-themed decorations, vegan food, and sweet treats.
