The Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB) has undergone a significant change in leadership, with Bianca Gavin taking over as the new Chair. Gavin, who is currently the Head of Scripted Television for Gangs of London producer Pulse Films, brings a wealth of experience to the role. Throughout the past four years, the guild has been instrumental in providing training, talent development, and representation to its members. One of Gavin’s priorities as the new Chair is to continue the work of the diversity task force, on which she has been a member since 2020. This task force aims to improve production diversity and create more opportunities for career progression within the industry. Gavin will be supported in her role by a dedicated leadership team. Debbie Vertue, the producer of Dracula, will continue as the Co-Vice Chair of the PGGB. She will be joined by John Graydon, a current Board member from Saffery Champness, who will also serve as Co-Vice Chair. Lara Sargent, from Sargent-Disc, will continue in her role as Treasurer. Together, this team will work closely with Gavin to guide the PGGB through the ever-changing landscape of the industry.
